Study in Florence During Fall 2020
A fall semester abroad can be one of the most memorable times of a student’s college career. The CSUF program is designed so students can take classes that work toward their majors in Communications and/or Cinema and Television Arts. GE, major, and collateral classes will be offered.
Students will experience the wonderful city of Florence–a city with more than one-third of the world’s most important art. They will walk the streets where Leonardo DaVinci and Michelangelo and Galileo walked.
Classes will take advantage of the city, and the program includes field trips to Cinecitta, Rome’s famous film studio, and to the beautiful city of Torino which houses the famous film museum and Egyptian museum. Also trips to the Italian coast and tower towns. Classes in screenwriting (all levels), film history, global media systems, Italian cinema, feature and travel writing and more.
Students will create web-series and other media content. Students’ classes are in a 15th- century building near the Santa Croce Cathedral. They also can take online classes via TITANium.
Apartments near school, travel to Florence and other necessities are all arranged! Financial aid works. The cost of the program are very competitive. A GREAT OPPORTUNITY!
